Iran films honored at UK film festival

Two Iranian films have been honored at the Cardiff International Film Festival in the United Kingdom.

‘Weavers of Imagination’ by Mohammad-Sadeq Jafari and ‘Light Sight’ by Seyyed Moslem Tabatabai won awards at the UK festival, which was held in the Welsh capital from October 27-29.

‘Weavers of Imagination’ won the best foreign-language documentary award, while ‘Light Sight’ received the best animation award.

‘Weavers of Imagination’ reveals the story of several blind carpet weavers who spend happy times when they get together.

‘Light Sight’ is about a creature named M.E. who is fascinated by a white light outside its room. M.E. tries to reach the light but there are obstacles in the way.
